FLOORDOM KZN has just completed the installation of 200 sq metres of customer supplied Oak engineered wood flooring to a clients home in Cowies Hill Durban.  Custom made floor matching end profiles were used around the perimeter of the floor as the client did not want skirtings.  The overal finish is clean and stunning.  The client also used the flooring panels on the walls and as door panelling.  See pictures of this installation under Galleries.

Floordom has recently completed the installation of a  Jarrah Engineered hardwood flooring to a curved staircase in Umhlanga Durban.  This staircase is to date the most challenging installation FLOORDOM has undertaken and  took 9 days to complete. Stairnosings were custom made and stained to match the floor.  Stair nose corners and mitres were beautifully matched, custom mixed stains were used to do final touch up work.

Meranti skirtings were used on walls, these were pre-prepared and finished with white Plascon Velvaglo.

Laminate flooring was installed in House Strike in Westville Durban KZN in November 2011 and we were asked back to quote for flooring in new areas.  The client is overjoyed with the end result and was extremely complimentary regarding our installation quality, our team and overall company service.

Engineered flooring was installed at House Green in September 2011.  This revolutionary “green friendly” floor looks spectacular now that the house is furnished and the floor is being lived on.  Two species were used “Parky” Milk Oak satin brushed and “Kahrs” Walnut in different areas in the home.  The client is delighted with the floor and finishings,  and every visitor they have had in their home comments on their lovely floors.

We are so delighted with our beautiful new laminate floors from Floordom.  The appearance is clean and modern and the maintenance is a dream which is exactly what we wanted.

The whole experience of changing from soggy wool carpets to silky laminate flooring has been positive. We received nothing but professional attention from Fatima with her advice on the colour and wood selection to Imraan and his team’s slick installation and attention to detail.  What a treat to deal with such skilled experts.

We had mentioned that we intended painting our skirting boards and what amazing added value it was to us when Imraan offered, as part of their service, to have his team do the sanding and painting for us, to create that perfect finishing touch.

Laminate floor installation House Schuitenmaker

The Laminate floor installation at House Schuitenmaker in Umhlanga Durban was an absolute success and left us with another very happy client.  Laminate flooring was installed into 2 rooms, the lounge / dining room and main passage, directly onto a cement floor.  The sub floor was first flattened using Pavelite and then a silent system foam was used under the laminate floor thereby giving the floor a firm quiet walk. Meranti skirtings were refurbished to white velvaglo and looked fantastic on completion.
